Day 4 Dr Edmund A Babler Memorial State Park, Wildwood, Missouri

We are now on central time. We did not make any stops today to visit any sites of interest because there really were none along interstate 70.  Scott got a shot of the Arches as we passed through St Louis. Interstate 70 is a two lane highway except for passing through cities.  Driving through Indiana and Illinois was very flat and corn fields on either side of the highway for as far as the eye could see.  The only break in corn fields in Indiana were massive distribution centers.  I did not take any pictures today but Scott sent me a few that he had taken.  Apparently the man the campground was named after was quite the humanitarian.  I did not get out of the camper much as it was very hot and humid here.  Even Virgil asked to come back inside the camper.  I must admit to being tired of driving.  It would have been nice to have a break in driving.  I drove through St Louis and at points it was five lanes of heavy traffic.  Scott thinks the people are nicer here in the Midwest.  Well on to Kansas and predicted 102 degree weather.
